- No má! Te dije que estoy demasiado cansado...

New Year
The New Year's celebration is very popular in my country, Chile. It's an ocasion for meeting with the whole family or friends and wait with zeal the new year. Here, like in a lot of countries, I think, there are many tips and tricks, which are some things that we can do for getting a very good new year. For example, wearing some yellow clothes, setting some special things in the table or putting money in some special places. There are some weird tricks too, like getting up and down stairs three times or eat a whole plate with lentils. Well, thats our new year's eve.
Personally, I love new year, this year has been better than sometimes in the past. Just comparable with last year's where I stayed in teh house of a friend in Sweden and we went to an enormous party. Apart from that, this year was more meaningful than the other ones. I was expecting for finishing this year, to forget all those problems and begin from zero, like a butterfly (without wings and with brain of course). So I made up my mind and I received the new year with a huge hug.
In my family is very common to celebrate new year in the house of someone with all the family. So we can wait the new year together. This year was not the exception and 11 o'clock we were in the house of my aunt Margarita. After the dinner we ready for waiting the new year. One of the tricks for this night is to hug someone of the opposite sex and single

After getting know that the party we planed to go was just for 18 years old people and my friends doesn't have a swedish card (Like I do and that I use for coming in to parties, because they think I'm swedish) we had to go to the disco, there we'll can come in. In the end it was the best decision, we had a great time and we drunk like sponges, we danced like spinning tops and laughed like demented people. It was 6 in the morning and we hadn't got enough so we went to Gonzalo's house, where the party continued while the rising sun was shining in the sky. At 8 we came back home and I slept like if I had never done that before. At 4 in the afternoon my mother shouted from downstairs. "Are you coming to the camp with the family" I was like so tired...
- No mom! I've already said that I'm not coming! I am too tired!
And I feel asleep again, wellcome 2009!
